Le n\u00e9o-promu en premi\u00e8re Ligue Promotion Vevey-Sports a d\u00fb puiser dans ses r\u00e9serves pour venir \u00e0 bout d\u2019une valeureuse \u00e9quipe Challensoise.<\/p>\n

Pourtant au d\u00e9but de rencontre on aurait pu croire que les Veveysans allaient faire qu\u2019une bouch\u00e9e des joueurs locaux. En effet, apr\u00e8s trois minutes Echallens avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 conc\u00e9d\u00e9 3 coups de coin et n\u2019arrivait pas \u00e0 se sortir du pressing de l\u2019adversaire. A la 5e minute, Falk intervenait de fa\u00e7on parfaite sur une frappe des seize m\u00e8tres. Puis, (6e) c\u2019est la transversale qui vint au secours du dernier rempart local.<\/p>\n

Echallens allait quelque peu d\u00e9boussol\u00e9 par cette entr\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re ne perdit pas son sang froid. Lima (10e) centrait pour son capitaine, sa reprise de la t\u00eate allait mettre fortement en danger le gardien adverse qui s\u2019y reprit \u00e0 2 fois pour \u00e9viter l\u2019ouverture du score. Rushenguziminega (19e) avait \u00e0 nouveau l\u2019ouverture du score au bout de ses chaussures en se pr\u00e9sentant seul face au dernier rempart, mais ouvrit trop son pied.<\/p>\n

Si les Veveysans \u00e9taient quelque peu sup\u00e9rieurs dans la possession du ballon, les Challensois \u00e0 la moindre possibilit\u00e9 portaient le danger dans les 16 m\u00e8tres adverses. Pour preuve, \u00e0 la 45e un centre de Demeri trouvait Gomes aux six m\u00e8tres, mais sa reprise de vol\u00e9e filait largement au-dessus de la cage.<\/p>\n

A la reprise, le gardien adverse trop avanc\u00e9 (52e) ratait sa relance aux pieds et \u00d6zcan tentait une frappe de 40 m\u00e8tres qui fut repouss\u00e9 par le poteau, Vevey avait eu tr\u00e8s chaud. Mais, dix minutes plus tard, Echallens fut incapable de prendre le dessus sur le pressing adverse et Marwan (en position douteuse de hors jeu) se retrouva seul face \u00e0 Falk pour l\u2019ouverture du score.<\/p>\n

A la suite de cette ouverture du score, le match perdit de son intensit\u00e9 et malgr\u00e9 une tentative de Ianigro (en contre) qui avorta \u00e0 l\u2019or\u00e9e des seize m\u00e8tres, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un bon retour des d\u00e9fenseurs centraux, le r\u00e9sultat ne changea plus.<\/p>\n

On en restera l\u00e0 pour ce dernier match de pr\u00e9paration et force est de constater que la formation de De Almeida devrait \u00eatre pr\u00eate pour le d\u00e9but du championnat.<\/p>\n
